Paul came to the County Ground on a one-game trial - playing in Town's Combination fixture against Brighton.

Signed by Bert Head at 17, Kevin was promoted from Town's 'A' team to the reserves in October 1958 making thirty appearances. A regular penalty taker, three of his four goals came from the spot. After his playing days ended, Kevin returned to the County Ground as a member of Harry Cousins' backroom team - then took charge of the third team before eventually becoming club physio - easily recognisable by his snow white hair.
