Keith made his Combination debut at just 15 - in November 1967 - and was a regular in that side until being released in May 1971.

David was a regular in the Combination side's number ten shirt between 1965 and 1967, netting nine goals in fifty appearances. But he was then played a little deeper at left-half in his third season as a pro before being released at the end of it.

Darryl first broke into the reserve side in August 1967, at just 15. He started on the left-wing but by 1970/71 he was a regular at left-back. Darryl had made almost 70 Combination appearances when he was released in May 1971.

The son of 1940's forward Jim (q.v.), Dave made just a handful of reserve appearances after signing as a pro on his 18th birthday.

After making almost 60 appearances for Town's reserves and 'A' team, Dave left to assist Clanfield. But a serious injury - a ruptured spleen - during training in October 1968 almost ended his career. But he returned to action before the end of the season and in December 1970 took over the captaincy from former Swindon skipper Keith Morgan.

Dennis made 100 Combination appearances, hitting four goals in three games at the turn of the year in 1966/67.

A late arrival into the professional game, Roger appeared in all 35 Combination games in 1969/70 but was then released.

A right-back who made his debut for the reserves as a first-year apprentice in October 1964, Barry went on to make just over fifty appearances in the Combination side. In September 1966, he was selected for an England Youth trial.

Clive had made three senior appearances while at Ninian Park, but made only seven reserve appearances during a brief spell at the County Ground.

Paul was originally signed as youth team goalkeeper, but the club then realised he was too old ! He managed just a single appearance in Town's reserve side, when he was unfortunately on the end of a 7-1 defeat to a Peterborough side that included seven first team players who were involved in a pay dispute. Later in his career, as a manager, Paul took Devizes to the quarter-finals of the F A Vase.

A former schoolboy sprinter, Enzo was a regular on the right wing in the Combination side after turning pro at 17. After making around 70 appearances he was released in May 1969. Despite not making a first team appearance, Enzo made the front cover of the Town programme in January 2003. In a case of 'mistaken identity' he was shown as one of four of the club's top goalscorers instead of Don Rogers !

Peter made a dozen appearances in the Combination and Hellenic sides (scoring four goals) - all of which were on a Saturday. From the October, he dovetailed these with six mid-week appearances for Cheltenham in the Midland Floodlit League.

A right-sided player, Haydn was a regular in the 'A' team from the start of 1964/65. He travelled to Gilliingham as twelfth man for the reserve side in October 1966, but was not called upon and left the County Ground at the end of the season.

Predominantly a right-winger, Vince spent two seasons in Town's Combination squad - one either side of him signing a pro contract at the County Ground.

Bob made just a handful of appearances in the Combination side before being released towards the end of 1969/70. He died in Gloucester Royal Hospital following a collision between his car and a bus on the Golden Valley bypass between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Ken made his debut in the Hellenic League side at the start of 1963/64 but did not get a chance in the reserve side until the end of December 1965 when he played in a 2-2 draw at Ipswich. He was released soon aftewards.
